🌿 Otocinclus affinis – Brazilian Oto / Dwarf Algae Eater
The Otocinclus affinis, also known as the Brazilian Oto or Dwarf Oto, is a small, peaceful catfish species highly valued for its exceptional algae-eating abilities and gentle community temperament. Perfect for planted aquariums, these little algae grazers help maintain clean glass, driftwood, and plant leaves while adding life and movement to your tank. 🐠🌱
Native to Brazilian river systems, Otocinclus affinis are schooling fish that thrive in groups of 6 or more. Their small size, docile nature, and efficiency at controlling algae make them an excellent choice for nano tanks, aquascapes, and peaceful community aquariums. ✨
