Most fish you receive will not look exactly like the photos on our website upon unboxing. Fish can change in appearance due to mood, age, gender, and social status. It’s completely normal for fish to lose color during shipping, often appearing pale or faded upon arrival.
The pictures on our website serve as examples only and may showcase fully mature, brightly colored fish or juveniles that have not yet developed their adult coloration. Some species also have significant differences between males and females, with females often displaying less vibrant colors.

We take great care in packing and shipping our fish. Each fish is placed in an oxygenated bag and insulated packaging to maintain the appropriate temperature during transit. We also include heat or cold packs as needed to ensure the fish’s well-being.
We usually take about 2-4 days to select and pack your fish, you’ll get a notification when it ships along with tracking info. Sometimes, the fish may not be looking 100% the day of shipping. If this is the case we will cancel the order and issue a full refund or if possible allow for you to substitute with another fish.
