The Bristle Bushmouth Pleco L34 (Ancistrus sp. L34) is a striking and uncommon bushynose pleco prized for its bold markings, hardy nature, and excellent algae-grazing ability. This attractive Loricariid catfish is a fantastic addition to community aquariums and planted tanks where it helps control algae while adding unique bottom-dwelling activity. 🌿

Like other Ancistrus species, the L34 develops characteristic facial bristles (especially in males) and spends much of its time grazing surfaces for algae and biofilm. Its manageable adult size and peaceful temperament make it one of the best plecos for medium-sized aquariums.
